How to Link Associated Accounts in MyIR

How to Link Associated Accounts in MyIR, IRD, Business, New Zealand

Easily manage your tax responsibilities by linking your associated accounts in myIR. Follow these simple steps to get started!

Note:
You can only access another account in myIR if there’s already a connection between you and that account. This typically applies if you’re a company director, trustee of a trust, partner in a business, or if you’ve been nominated to act on someone’s behalf.

Keep in mind, linking to someone else’s account only gives you access to their myIR information—it doesn’t allow them to view your own account details.

Step 1: Log into MyIR

Use your myIR login to access all your IRD accounts in one place.

Tip: You can only link accounts where you already have a relationship, such as being a company director, trustee, partner, or authorized representative.
